We take apprenticeships very seriously at Changeworks. It gives them the chance to prosper their career and strive to the top. This week we have truly researched this. The way the Government funds apprenticeships is changing. Some employees will be required to contribute to a new apprenticeship levy, and there will be changes to the funding for apprenticeship training.
The apprenticeship levy requires all employers operating in the UK, with a pay bill over £3m each year, to make an investment. New guidance provides information on how the levy will work, when it is introduced on the 6th April 2017. It will also explain the principles that fund and the levy will operate on.
In June 2016, there will be information about provisional funding brands, which will set maximum amount of funding available for each apprenticeship.
